| Birthday madness |

Well today was my birthday.. 23! eek I really don't feel that old. I had a pretty nice birthday, lots of my friends and family visited.. people even drove long distances to see me! Coincidently everybody got me earings, which is totally cool cause I love earings! Craig got me nice sparkly ones and dangly chain ones, pweety :) And I got guitar ones, and beady ones, and silvery ones. And randomly got an easter egg from glenn, which was in a cup and ball game apparently its "the gift that keeps on giving". My brother bought me 512mb of RAM, yay :) Cake and fun was had by all. |

I HATE summer... seriously! why does everyone love summer, its shit. I hate the beach, sand gets everywhere, you get burnt, salt water is icky, wheres the fun?
When it's fucking hot you can't cool down.. at least in winter you can just put on some warm clothes and you're warm. fuck summer and its stupid heat that makes me want to cry. fuck you summer. |

| NO MORE UNI OH YEAH |

OH YEAH!!!! No more Uni for Mel!!! I'm free of the shackles of full time study which means:
*no more assignments
*no more lectures
*no more tutorials
*no more exams
*no more studying
*no more train to sydney
*no more all nighters before assignments are due
*no more group work
*no more union fees
*no more textbooks
*no more java
*no more working a shit kicking job just for money
BUT unfortunately:
*no more mid-week binge drinking
*no more spontaneous road trips
*no more getting drunk at lunch time at the uni bar
*no more half price train fares
*no more cheap movie tickets
*no more centrelink
*no more "im just a uni student officer, please don't give me a speeding fine *bat eyelids.. cry a little*"
*no more free ride from the parents
*no more wearing jeans and sneakers everyday
*no more being irresponsible.
After 5 years of full time tertiary education you kind of get used to certain thing in life, so if you're still at uni now, enjoy it! |

So in 13 hours my last uni assignment EVER is due... It's not great.. but it'll do! I start my new full time job either Wednesday or Thursday, scary shit. Everything is changing :/ |

The most hilarious thing happened today! My friend emii and I got the bus after class to go to central to go home and she was telling me a story about how these kids threw the stone of a fruit at her windscreen and she was like "and they fucking threw it at my car" this old lady sitting infront of us leant forward, kicked emii in the shin and said "DO YOU MIND??" and emii was like "um excuse me?" and the old lady goes "that language is horrible would you please stop?" and emii was like "ummm no, I wasn't talking to you, you should stop eaves dropping and mind your own business" and the lady was like "you're a pair of tarts!" referring to emii and I. Then this other lady behind us leans over and goes "leave them alone you old bat, it's obvious you haven't had an orgasm in 20 years, mind your own business, they can say what they like it's a free country, we might not want to see your saggy tits, but we have to, so shut up!" Then the lady got up and went up to the bus driver and demanded to get off the bus! So he stopped and let her off and everyone on the bus had a big laugh.... ahhh good times!! |

YAY! I no longer work for Woolworths! I don't have to be nice to people I loath! I was pretty excited to leave, but I was sad to say goodbye to the people I work with, and I had worked there for 5 years so it was kinda emotional but none the less, I've moved onto a better job and hopefully wont have to do anymore retail work as long as I live! SIGH what a wonderful feeling :) They gave me chocolates and flowers, that was pretty nice!
Not long until uni is over now eeeep how scary! I'm going to miss all my friends so much, I've made awesome friends at uni! It's going to be weird not being a student anymore I quite enjoy it, ah well, I think it's time for me to grow up... how sad |
